For most Baltic Sea cruise passengers St. Petersburg is the highlight of the voyage. Being an authorized agency for the Seaport of St. Petersburg’s Customs Division and a member of the Association of Cruise Tourism, Nordic Travel is able to offer visa-free arrangements and private shore excursions for cruise passengers.

Conditions for a visa-free visit

Cruise ship passengers are the only tourists who are allowed to visit Russia without a visa. There are a few conditions governing the 72-hour visa-free provision:
1.You cannot leave the ship independently. You may disembark only if accompanied by a tour guide of an authorized tour company.
2. When entering the country at passport control, you must present a valid passport and an authorized tour ticket, which we will send you by e-mail upon confirming the tour booking.
3.You must re-board the ship at the time specified in your tour ticket (or earlier). Therefore you should determine the time you would like to return to the ship each day when booking your shore excursion(s) with us.
